TAMPA, Florida -- The Wichita Wings welcomed a big opening-night Crowd to the Park City Arena, and they didn't leave any lumps of coal in their fans' stockings as they opened their 2025-26 season for new head coach LeBaron Holllimon with a 10-2 win over the Minnesota Blizzard.

The Wings got big offensive efforts from Junior Quezada and Radley Arnold who both had five-point nights,  and the Wichita defense, led by netminder Jose Campos, didn't allow a single goal over the final two and a half quarters of play.

The Iowa Raptors continued their strong start, winning their third straight, and making it two in a row over the Omaha Kings this season, and the OKC Certified Lions also continued their perfect start in rolling past the Texas Spurs. Spice City also opened their season with back-to-back home game wins over the Salisbury Steaks.

Next weekend, the Wings will host Omaha in a pair of key divisional games at the Park City Arena, while the Spurs will be back at home looking to avenge their loss to the Certified Lions. In two weeks, several teams will make their season debuts, including Mexico City, Turlock and the Soccer Central Black Hawks in Northern California.
