Week 10: Hawks, Wings showdown; Mexico City hosts two, Guadalajara meets Sonora

TAMPA, Florida -- It isn't an overly busy weekend in Major Arena Soccer League 2, but those games that are on the docket promise plenty of action and intrigue as many teams approach the midpoint of the league's ninth season.

The biggest showdown will be at Heartland Credit Union in suburban Wichita, where the Wings will host the Iowa Demon Hawks. Those two teams along with the Iowa Raptors are in a battle royale for supremacy in the Midwest Division. The three combined, in 15 games, have just one regulation loss in 2025-26. 

There's an intriguing matchup in Guadalajara, as the Mariachis will host Soles de Sonora in another matchup of teams with Division dreams in the West. Mexico City will host the Soccer Central Black Hawks for a pair, and the OKC Certified Lions, tied for first with Mexico City at 4-0 for each team, will be back in action against the Texas Spurs in Texas.

The league is already abuzz looking ahead to Week 11, when Sonora visits Mexico City, the Iowa Raptors will go cross state to meet the Iowa Demon Hawks and the debut of the Harrisburg Heat in MASL 2 among the President's Day weekend highlights.
