Turlock will visit Tijuana December 11 to start 2026-27 West Division schedule

TAMPA, Florida -- The question of "how the West was won" will start to be answered on Friday, December 11, when the West Division for Major Arena Soccer League Two will kickoff in Tijuana, Mexico when the Turlock Cal Express visits TJ Gricks.

This is the 10th anniversary season for MASL 2 action, and with fans always in the fore of mind, every one of the West division regular season games in 2026-27 are scheduled for weekend dates only.

The first-year Gricks will also be in action the following night, when they host the first-year team from Fresno which is currently holding a name-the-team contest.

Fresno, who will play at Fresno Indoor Soccer, will have its home opener on January 9, a Saturday, when the always-tough Chihuahua Savage return to MASL 2 action. The Savage won the league title two years ago, but say out last season. The Savage won't open at home until Friday, February 5, when they host Guadalajara.

The second year Mariachis -- one of three Mexican teams in West -- will open at home at Saturday, January 9 in taking on Tijuana.

Turlock, who helps kicks the season off with their game in Tijuana in early December, will open at home on Friday, January 8, in hosting Chihuahua who will be making their California swing in the second week of January.

Each team plays a 12-game regular season schedule, with a national championship playoff held in early spring. That site will be chosen later in the season. For more information on the league, visit www.masl2.com.
