Broadcast plans set for MASL 2 playoff action this weekend in Des Moines, Omaha

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Broadcast plans for this weekend's Major Arena Soccer League 2 playoffs have been set for games Friday in Des Moines, and the semi-finals and finals at Baxter Arena in Omaha.

Friday's first round games will be available on Youtube with kickoffs at 4 p.m. and 7:30. The first game will feature Mexico City (No, 3 seed) against the Omaha Kings (No. 6) while the nightcap will feature Utica's United Elite Krajisnik  (No. 5) squaring off against the OKC Certified Lions (No. 4). The playoff action moves to Omaha on Saturday, with the No. 1 seeded Harrisburg Heat meeting the lowest remaining sees from Friday's action and the No. 2 seeded Iowa Demon Hawks meeting the highest remaining seed from Friday. Both the Heat and Hawks come in with perfect 12-0 regular seasons in their rear view mirrors.

John Wilsback, a MASL play-by-play stalwart for more than 30 years, will handle the play-by-play duties for the semifinals and finals from Baxter Arena. Links to those broadcasts will be provided closer to game time.
