Baltimore set for relaunch, Texas Spurs make swing to Turlock, Northern California

TAMPA, Florida -- With nasty weather threatening the central and eastern part of the United State, most of the MASL 2 action in Week 8 is out of harms way on the left coast, in fact.

The Texas Spurs will be making a two-game trip through California, first in Turlock to take on the Cal Express and then the next night in northern California to meet the Soccer Central Black Hawks in Watsonville, near the Monterey peninsula. 

There is one game that could be weather adverse, with FC Baltimore 1729 hosting the Salisbury Steaks. As of late Thursday, the game was still a go, but fans are advised to check team social sites for the latest information on Sunday's scheduled start as part of a MASL / MASL 2 doubleheader with the Baltimore Blast.

Next weekend, it's baseball meets indoor soccer with no less than three doubleheaders planned, including a huge one in Cedar Rapids between the Raptors and Wichita Wings. The Minnesota Blizzard will be in Iowa for a pair with the Demon Hawks in Des Moines, and the Soccer Central Black Hawks will be in Mexico to take on Soles de Sonora.
